Prom Basics!!!
Well, most of us are bz wif our final exams and nv prepare anytin for prom nite. Oh no!! Prom is only a week away. Maybe this can help u in looking great at prom nite.
The Dress
- Get know your personal styles. Do you prefer a one-piece dress or are you a bally-baring, two piece-kind of girl? Ball gown or slim and slinky? Long or short? Make sure your overall look reflects your character and personality; you have to be comfortable with what you're wearing.
- Colour plays a key role for your dress. Black is always a classic, surefire choice-chic and sophisticated.
- Beware of overdoing it. A sparkling dress with lots of jewels, a slashed look, over-sized prints will ruin your look and ultimately your night. Your dress should be the focus piece with the other items complimenting it.
Accessories
- If your dress is simple and understated, add interesting accesories. If your gown has beautiful sequins , beads or embroidery, go easy with accessories. A plain sheer wrap is always a great accompaniment.
- A matching clutch, purse or tote is a necessity. It carry your nicknacks for the night and also look nice to your whole outfit.
- If your dress has a boat or halter neckline, skip the necklace and wear pretty earrings, bracelets or rings instead. A dep V-neck is stunning with a plunging glittery necklace or a choker. With a strapless or spaghetti strap outfit, a drop neckace will do the trick.
Shoes
- Heels are ideal but if you're seeking for more comfort, flats are definitely an alternative. The best and safest choices are one or two inches heels. Match the colour of your shoes with the dress, uynless you are going for a contrasting look. You can choose a different shade of the same or complementary colour.
- If your dress is short or has a high slit, shoes with straps crisscrossing up the ankle are a chic and sexy pick. A floor grazing gown is best with open-toe heels or stilettos.
